Craft: easy felt owl

More often than I care to admit, I buy things at the craft store intending to do a project, then shove the purchases in a drawer and find them months later, only to have lost the motivation. So I wasn't surprised when I was searching through the cabinets (to find our camera charger) and came across the ingredients for a felt owl I never started.

It took me an hour to complete both. My advice is don't trace the print-outs with a pen because the ink smears and makes a mess. It's easy enough to cut the feathers freehand. These owls will look great sitting on a bookshelf in the nursery.

I can't resist posting this here. It appears as though a small curly-haired child got a hold of my iPhone and took 18 pictures like this:
